Yuba City is in Sutter County and the newspaper is the Appeal Democrat. Yuba County is across the river from Yuba City and the County seat is Marysville. I do not live there so can't do a lookup but think that the obit would be in the Appeal Democrat or at least they could tell you if it would be in another one nearby. Maybe the cemetery district where the person is buried would help. Also, the Sutter County Library or the Yuba County Library might be resources. Much luck.
