George L Rushing, Jr

Graveside rites will be held at 10 am Monday at Acacia Memorial Park for George Lawson Rushing, Jr, 57, who died Wednesday in a hospital in Martinez after a long illness.

Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Rushing had lived in Modesto since 1940. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a supervisor clerk at Tracy Army Depot.

Rushing leave his daughter, Glennis Lovell of Aukland, New Zealand; mother, Esta Lee Rushing of Modesto, and two grandchildren.
