Linna Burrows, 69, died yesterday in a Salinas [Monterey County] hospital following an extended illness.
A native of Oklahoma, she lived in Waterford for nine years. She was a retired meat cutter.
She leaves two sons, John V. Surrett of F. Orchard, Wash. And Herman E. Surrett of Spreckles; three sisters, Dessie P. Minor and Helen J. Brown of Waterford and Maude Heckerman of Antlers, Okla.; three brothers, John V. Price of Empire, Albert O. Price of San Jose and Dow A. Price of Exeter; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, 409 Scenic Drive. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Okla.

Salas Brothers is still in business. You could look them up in an on-line phone book and write or call. They may have more information.

If you have the inclination and ability, you can repay the favor by looking up an obituary for someone who posted a request on the GenForum page for your county. I do these to repay a small regiment of people who have helped me.
