The 1910 county directory has a "Belle" Brown, widow of Frank, living in Turlock.

There was a james brown, 26, resident of Oakdale, native of Scotland, who married Isabelle Harray, 26, resident of oakdale, native of Scotland, on 11 Feb 1894.

There isn't anyone named Burrows in the 1930 county directory, by which time Johnny, if he stayed here, would have been established enough to have an entry, maybe.
