The RootsWeb California Death data base has a Frank Hess Holley, b. 12/07/1917 in Texas, d. 08/08/1985 in Stanislaus County, mother's maiden name Tormey.

If this is your uncle, as a first step, you can add a Post-em note there just in case other researchers are doing the Holley line.
As a second step, you may want to visit the Stanislaus County Clerk-Recorder's web site at
http://criis.com/stanislaus/official.htm
and order a death certificate. You might want to look through all the HOLLEY birth certificates, to see if Frank had any children in Stanislaus County, too; the RootsWeb data base does not show the father's name, but the Clerk does.
