If you did search the same databases I did with no results, you may indeed have done something wrong. The two things that spring to mind are a typo, or putting the surname in the given name field and vice versa. They spring to mind because I make both errors a lot. The LDS mega-site and Ancestry.com both ask for given name first, then surname. The Rootsweb people reverse it. About every fifth time I go from one to the other I forget. It doesn't help that after you've seen a screen a couple of dozen times you tend to ignore the field headings.
