Hello Dee,
thank you so much for sending this obituary. If nothing else, I at least know the age of the decedent. William Nagle died of consumption in the presence of his brother P.B. Nagle. Their mother, Catherine lived in Black Rock [part of Buffalo], New York. The letter, written by P.B. Nagle is very poignant and gives a detailed account of the last days of his brother. I'd be so happy if I could forward it to one of the descendants. Their mother, Catherine, was remarried and had 2 more children, girls. I have followed P.B. Nagle through the census years but have been unable to locate any of his descendants.
There was an Edward Nagle living in Macomb Co., Michigan where the letter was found, so I assume that Edward too may have been a relative of sort.
