Harriet Bell Blinn (Patterson)
A graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at the Patterson District Cemetery for Harriet Bell Blinn, 98, who died in Modesto Tuesday.

Mrs. Blinn, born in Kansas, had lived in Patterson since 1936. She was a homemaker and a member of the Covenant Church in Patterson.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Carlson of Patterson; 12 grand-children; 14 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

I would be happy to send you the copy of the page if you send me your address privately.

Patterson is a small town. It has a weekly newspaper, the "Irrigator". Irrigation is a major concern in this part of California. The county library Patterson Bramch or the newspaper itself may have old copies of the newspaper. The library here in Modesto does not. You can write to either. They may have a bigger obituary for Harriet, or an obit for Samuel, or both.

Samuel is also buried in the Patterson District Cemetery, according to a cemetery listing here. Harriet Bell's age is right. I strongly suspect tis is your "Belle". She is in the CDI as Harriet Bell, but on the SSDI as Bell.
