I am looking for family and friends of WWII submariner, Donald Raymond BROWN. He was aboard the USS Wahoo (SS-238) that went missing in Oct. 1943, in northern Japan. The submarine has been found and we wish to share the news.

He listed his next of kin, his parents: Mr. & Mrs. George Raymond BROWN, 304 Powell St., Healdsburg.

I do not know if the following data collected, is the same family. 1920 census, Mendosoma, Sonoma Co: George R.; {?}Myrtle and Donald R. I also found a George Raymond BROWN, b. July 3, 1884, OH. d. Dec 1, 1948, 64y, Sonoma Co. Mother's Maiden: KELLY.

If anyone has knowledge of this family, please make contact with On Eternal Patrol <info@OnEternalPatrol.com> or to this posting. I thank you for any assistance.
