hi, I'm from california i was reading your post and am doing some research as well. I have found out that my grandmothers grandmother was named Letty Harper and her husband was named John Bowman her name may have been Letty harper Bowman.I don't know if I can help you but I'm just trying to get started myself.We should talk and see if we are on the same track..My grandmother says there is a "Irington" Letty's past maybe her mom or grandmother. The offspring of Letty and John Bowman was Marie Lucille Bowman who was born around or in 1901.She maried ARthur Fredrick Lavalle(y) Arthur was murderd in 1939 in front of his home.
