Help in "finding" a Church?......circa abt. 1910- Santa Rosa, Ca.

I have an orig. birth cert./ bap.reg. for my grandfather, Edward Lawrence Martin, born 4 May, 1910, in Santa Rosa, Sonoma, CA.-(Bap. on 21 May, 1910). This doc. is written in German.- I am searching for any information about the church that is listed on this paper...

There is a "seal"on the bottom of the page, it looks as if it was once "gold foil", there is a pic of an open Bible, with a cross above it... it is very hard to make out the wording, but, it appears to be: "First Ev. Luth. German Church".

Does anyone know if this Church is still standing? If so, would you be able to send me an address so that I may contact the Pastor?- It is my hope that they may be able to find some information from old records, to help me with questions about my grandfather, and his family. (who left CA, when he was abt. 2 years of age, and moved to PA.).

IF the church is no longer there, would anyone know how/where I may be able to find old records for the church?

thank you, in advance for any/all help, and suggestions!
continued good luck to all, in their searches!
~ Mindi~ (please, feel free to e-mail directly.)
