Susan,
Your post got me curious and while I was at the records department today I looked up George Harrison.I came up with 2.A George R. Harrison and a George A. Harrison in death records.
The George R. Harrison died 3/13/1941.No parents were listed on his death certificate, although there was a spouse, Alice V. Harrison.
As far as the George A. Harrison, he appears to be the son of the above George R. and Alice S. (thinking this is probably just an error of the middle name)Harrison nee Silverstone.George A.'s spouse was Daisy L. Harrison nee Roberts.
This gets even more interesting...while at the Sebastopol Memorial Lawn (Evergreen) I was taking pictures of some of my family headstones and as I turned around there was George R. Harrison, Alice V. Harrison and George A. Harrison adjacent to my relatives!CREEPY!I did take pictures of the headstones and will have to get the film developed. If this does end up being your George I'm happy to send the photos to you.
On another note, I am going to the Giliam/Gilian Cemetery tomorrow and will see if I can find a George Harrison there as posted by someone else who did a look-up and didn't know where that cemetery was located.
