Seek information on Rosetta A. Parsons, a part Cherokee woman, born in the Cherokee Nation in Sept. 1880 who died as follows:
Name: Rosetta A Barnes
Sex: FEMALE
Birth Date: 24 Sep 1880
Birthplace: Oklahoma
Death Date: 28 Jul 1966
Death Place: Solano Co, California, USA
She was married from 1898 to about 1915 to Isaac Morgan Cox and they resided in Washington Co., OK and appear to have been in KS briefly where one of their children was born.
She reportedly was married to Charles Anderson with whom she had a child, Helen Anderson, born in 1918; they appear together in the 1920 census as a husband and wife in a household in Copan, Washington Co., OK.
Reportedly she married a "Barnes" in 1921 and in time they relocated reportedly to either Portland, OR or WA. However she is found in Solano where she died when she was 85 years old.
A numnber of researchers are working on the various lineages out of her father, Enos W. Parsons, married three times and an early settler in the Cherokee Nation. His firt two wives were part Cherokee.
Rosetta had about six children with Cox, and a daughter with Anderson. Trying to find out why she might be in Solano Co. and especially would like to obtain an obit.
If anyone can provide me direction on finding out about Rose Barnes or where she might be buried, I would appreciate it.
