Joan Gerardus KLAUS, born 10-10-1835 in Stapelfeld near Cloppenburg, Germany
His parents were:
Michael Anton KLAUS, born 10-19-1811 in Stapelfeld,
died 03-20-1880 in Stapelfeld - and -
Maria Elisabeth ABELN, born 11-22-1811 in Stapelfeld,
died 02-24-1880 in Stapelfeld.
Joan Gerardus KLAUS may have died around 1868/1869
The widow Catherine married a second time about 1870 Mr. August ERICH
According to the 1880 CA-Census the following is mentioned:
