I wonder if anyone in Siskyou County would be willing to do a look-up? I am on the East Coast, and am not likely to be in California in the foreseeable future. I understand that there is a good obituary index in your local library, and I need to find enough information to request a newspaper microfilm via interlibrary loan. I need to find an obituary or other article on the death of C. E. DUGAN, who died January 24, 1936,in the Siskyou County Hospital of self-inflicted wounds received in a suicide attempt in the Siskyou County Jail on January 23, 1936. Surely there is a news article or obituary available for this event. Thanks!
