I am looking for the family of George McGrath born about 1836 in Ireland. We was married to Mary Dimmick in 1863 in near Yreka. Mary divorced him in 1871 in Grants Pass, Oregon. At the time of the divorce he lived in Shasta Valley, Siskiyou county, about 16 miles from Yreka, and was a rancher. According to the divorce papers he had a sister (unnamed) who he had threatened to give the children to. He may have remarried because he had found "a woman who suited him better." He They had two children John and Georgianna (Georgia). He also had a brother in law who may have lived near Kernan's Ferry (either California or Oregon).
