George McGrath and Mary Dimmick were married on July 30, 1863 in Yreka, California. Married filed for divorce in 1870, granted Dec. 11, 1871 in Jackson County, Oregon. Two children John age 8 and Georgianna aged 6 (in 1871). Mary and George's home was in Siskiyou Co., CA, they had a ranch. Mary left George about 1867 and returned Grants Pass, Oregon where her sisters lived. Mary was the daughter of Joseph Dimmick and Comfort Dean. Her sisters, Eleanor and Lucinda, and brother David gave depositons on her behalf in the divorce decree. Mary later married E. L. Sanford in Grant County, Oregon in 1876. They had one daughter Evelyn born about 1878. John married Anna (Koger) Anson a divorced woman with 3 children, Delora, Raymond, and Roland. John and Anna's children were Mary, Florine, and John Robert McGrath.
