I am looking for any information about the ancestors of my great grandmother OLIVE HANNAH BRADFORD (Shearer), born 1832, in Plattsburg,Clinton County, NY, died April 6, 1912, in Yreaka, Syskiyou County CA. Somewhere in March of 1861, in Syskiyou County, California, she married an Edwin Shearer (1824 - 1892).
Some of my basic questions are: Who were her parents? How did she get from Plattsburg, NY to Yreaka, CA?
