I found the Mattison, Wike, Hurley Family Tree on Ancestry and which contains your Jencks and Wike family and asked the owner to contact you.

I looked at the Census records they cited for 1860 and 1870 and see part of your challenge. At that time, Orleans was located in Klamath Co., CA. However, the state boundary was changed and Klamath County is now located in Oregon and the old records are there and not in California.
The Klamath Basin Genealogical Society, rootsweb.ancestry.com/~orbgs/, does research might have Bela and Eliza's death info.
The same family tree cites Bela's wife as Eliza b. 1848, Klamath Co., CA but now OR. She was a Klamath Indian.

In 1900 Maria, William and children were living in Liberty, Siskiyou Co., CA.
