>THE FOLLOWING was telegraphed from Yreka to the Marysville 'Appeal' -- The residence of Mrs. Mary HINCKLE, situated between Crescent City and Jacksonville, was burned to the ground on Tuesday night, and Mrs. HINCKLE and her 2 daughters perished in the flames. No efforts of the bystanders could avail to save them. Mrs. HINCKLE was 42 years of age. Her eldest daughter, who was soon to have been married, was 16, and the youngest 6 years. They emigrated from Missouri in 1853.
