I am searching for any descendants and relatives of Kerney J. Rucker who died 2/24/1963 in Siskiyou County, CA. I think his wife's name was Velma and they had 2 children, one named Susie. Kearney was born in Texas and he had a brother, Herschel Delmar Rucker who also died in California in 1966 (per Cal. death index). There was also a sister named Violet, but don't know who she married. These were all children of a Joe C. Rucker (b. abt. 1881) and Dollie E. Davis (b. abt. 1883). The most current information I have about Joe Rucker is that in 1931 he lived in Cleburne, Texas. Joe and Dollie appeared on the 1910 census in Callahan County, Texas. Descendants of Joe and Dollie Rucker would be distant Holloway cousins of my husband. Joe's mother was Susan P. Holloway and his father was Oliver J. Rucker. If anyone can find an obituary or any information on the above folks, I'd sure appreciate it. A group of 6 Holloway 4th cousins have been researching this bunch for a few years now and we are trying to find more distant cousins to share information with. THANKS!
