Dry Mill in Shingletown
Hello,
I am looking for information on a Dry Mill in Shingletown, it was the second mill built in that area. I know it no longer there but I was hoping that somebody may have information that I don't have or know where it was located? I know that it was built in 1863, by John W. Dinsmore a pioneer of 1852 in Shasta County. Merrimen Ferrel also worked with Dinsmore on the Dry Mill. I have some information but not a lot. The Dinsmore's and Ferrel's would be a off branch of the pioneer Tuggle family.
John W. Dinsmore and Merrimen Ferrel also built the Four Mile Stopping Place in Red Bluff, Tehama County. If you have any information please email me at [email protected] or post back.
