William H (last name?)b.1866/67. Father robbed and murdered. c 1867-1869, William and older sister Jane Medora (Last name?) witness murder of mother and kidnap of "baby" sister Eunice during hostilities with Indians.
Eunice found & raised by 'Spanish'California relatives. Willam 'adopted' by Thomas J & Mary Moore (not relatives) in Klamath Co.CA by 1870. After 1880 summer Fed Census, William moves to Shasta with Jane and her husband Miles Radcliffe/ Ratlif. William disappears. Miles helps neighbor Mr. Frisbie with harvest, only to discover the body of William beside a stump, having taken his own life at about age 14. We believe this would have been before 1884. Some possible family names include, but are not limited to, Alvarado,Pacheco, Cathey, Pico
