Hi Linda,

There is an obituary volunteer in Shasta County at cagenweb.com/shasta/lookups.html . Fate's obituary might also tell where he was buried.

The Shasta County Recorder, co.shasta.ca.us/index/recorder_index.aspx will have a copy of his death certificate which will show where he was buried.

After you receive his obituary, if you're still looking for information about him in Shasta County, you might want to contact the Shasta Genealogical Society, rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cascogs/ who does research for a fee. Ask them if they have City/County directories for the years he was living there. Successful Searching!
