To answer your question, yes this William Albert Gurr did divorce Minnie (Strickland) and yes they had 2 sons, William Ernest and Robert Gurr, both of whom are now deceased.
I do not know from where you obtained your information or how you relate to this family. Would you mind explaining that to me. Thanks.
I have been in contact with a grandson of this family and received further information regarding the information that I have. If memory serves me as I do not have my files in front of me at present, this Golden Fae Waters was a first wife of William Albert Gurr's adoptive father. I will find my notes and correct this if I am incorrect in this matter.
I do not have access to Ancestry.com as I am not a paying member. Is there no other way to give me access to that family tree?
