I am trying to find an obituary for John L. Stone who died 29 Sept 1960 in Shasta according to the California Death Index 1940-1997. In the index he is listed as Jean L. Stone. I know this is my person as it says his mother’s maiden name was Lyngar which is absolutely correct.
A descendant John Stone posted a response on a GenForum site in 2004 with an email address as jds@shasta.com... That address is no longer active. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
