The best place to try would be the Shasta County Library located on West Street in historic Downtown Redding. The have all mircrofilm rolls from 1852 to 2003. Or if you ever need pre 1940 I would try the Shasta County Historical Society located at 1449 Market Street in the Downtown Redding Mall. They carry the Courier-Free Press up to 1940.
