CA Death index has Elzy b. April 15, 1894 and died Feb. 19, 1960, mother's maiden name Garner. In 1930 census he is 36 and in 1920 he is 25, living in Oakland, Alameda Co. Ancestry has Elzy listed as Elsy in 1920. A Mabel Curtis age 22 b. OK is living in the household of a Lena Lund next door to Elzy and Ada in 1920.
A Charles Wesley Curtis b. May 31, 1891 KS d. Mar 31, 1959 in Alameda Co. also mother's maiden name Garner. This Charles W. Curtis age 38 b. KS is in 1930 CA Alameda Co. Oakland with a wife Evelyn M. and dau Barbara L.
Can'r find Elzy or Charles prior to 1920 census. Have you ordered their Social Security Card Applications? They ask for father's name and birth place and mother's maiden name and birth place.
