Akalis Fanning

I am looking for information on an Akalis Fanning (Achellis,Acles,Achilles, etc). He was in the Black Hawk War
in 1832 in Illinois and filed for pension in 1851 & 1853 from San Jose, Ca. I can't find him in the 1850 census records or later. I have no idea what became of him. He lived in Edgar & Clark Cos. of Illinois(ca. 1830) and Platte Co., Mo.(circa 1840) and maybe Bath Co., Ky.(circa 1820). He may have been in Floyd & Morgan Co., Ky circa 1812. He was born in Virginia around 1791-1794. He had a son Mathew, who also served in the Black Hawk War. Mathew was deceased before 1851.

Thank you,

Pat Fannin
