I am searching for one widowed/divorced gentleman, named John Wyatt Perkins, born about 1860 in North Carolina (but who also lived in Tennessee as a young boy) and is rumored to have died around 1931 while visitng Santa Cruz, California.
One of his sons George D. Perkins had also moved his family to California, and it is possible that he is living with them or nearby. Is there someone in California, either Santa Clara or Santa Cruz counties (or another place) meeting this description on the 1930 or 1920 census?
George was born about May 1900 and married a woman named Martha. They had children named Elizabeth, Wyatt, Leslie, and Emily Perkins. George and his wife were in San Diego area in the early 1940's and in Ukiah, California in the early fifties, before next moving to Oregon.
