Not too many of the other items matched exactly, other than the argument with a citizen and his Quincy, IL 63rd high school blurb, but I'm still very grateful.
Since writing the first query, I've located his cousin in Quincy, IL and she is at this time in CA and said she will get further information on his widow and two children. How grand genealogy is and how kind we genealogists are.
