This would tell you if a family name/ family-person was ever in Santa Barbara,Ca.

Santa Barbara genealogy society has a website page; often
does free lookups for persons who have a connection/interest in Santa Barbara,Ca.

Ancestry.com /internet website page
general search; gives some information...any place that has LDS stake-church has access to Ancestry.com and information.......Some public libraries have access to Ancestry.com.
