America Arnold Lilly and Benjamin Franklin Lilly

America and Benjamin are my great grandparents and I am trying to find any record of their death/burial. This is what I have from communiction with another person.

"She died in Santa Barbara city on 28 May 1898. Her death is recorded on an archaic pre-1900 death index in Santa Barbara, although her final resting place is not listed."

"America was listed as passing in the 5th month of her 56th year, which would suggest a b/d of Dec 1841/Jan 1842, which is confirmed by her 1860 FCMO and 1870 FCKS. She was born in Buchanan Co., MO, whose county seat is St Joseph - the start point for the Oregon Trail"

"the pasters online use a date of 06 Jun 1885 in Santa Barbara for Benjamin. He does not appear on any cemetery records in the county"

This is a link to what I have on Benjamin and America on ancestry.com:

I would appreciate any suggestions and help.

Sincerely,
Gretchen Lilly Muller
