WWII submariner O'NEAL & family

Looking for any family, friends or information on WWII submariner, Roy Lester O'NEAL. He was aboard the sub USS Wahoo (SS-238) that went missing, Oct. 1943, in La Perouse Strait, Northern Japan. The Naval Dept. has announced the finding of the submarine. We wish to share the news with family and friends.

Electrician's Mate, 3c, Roy Lester O'NEAL, from Lompoc, CA. He listed his mother, next of kin, Mrs. Emma Christina O'NEAL. 511 S. G St., Lompoc. His mother Emma, d. 1962, in Orange Co., CA. His father, Lowel S. ONEAL, d. June 3, 1940 and is buried in Lompoc Evergreen Cem.

Other children of Lowel & Emma (BENIGHT) O'NEAL: Dale C., b. 1924, Fresno Co. Paul Kenneth, b. 1926, Imperial Co. Jack Lyle, b. 1929, San Diego Co.
