Is anyone doing obit lookups in Santa Barbara?

I need a transcription of an obit for Melvin Richard Green who was born in Missouri on Aug. 26, 1928 and died in Santa Barbara on either Feb. 8, 1996 or Feb. 15, 1996. The California Online Death Index says one thing while the Social Security Death Index says the other.

Melvin is a second cousin once removed. Any information that I can gather on him and his family from his obit would be greatly appreciated.
