Please help. I did find a Civil War Vet of the "First Battalion Native Cavalry, Company "C" California Volunteers.
Jose Gertrudis was born in Santa Barbara on 15 Nov 1810. Died on 29 July 1871. buried at the Old Mission Cemetery Santa Barbara, California. Jose married Catalina Ortega (dau of Jose Maria Ortega & Francisca Lopez) on 8 Nov 1829 at Mission Santa Barbara. Jose's father was Carlos Antonio de Jesus Carrillo. And his mother was Maria Josefa Raymunda Castro. (ALL PER MISSION RECORDS)
I am looking for any descendants of his son Juan Jose Carrillo, bp. 21 Nov 1838 Mission Santa Barbarra.
