Moses Roberts b. 1851 Wales. Died July 27, 1901 in Santa Barbara. Married Adlaide Hewitt
dau. of John Hewitt of England/Canada. Moses Roberts was a Manson by trade. The family lived at 621 W. Micheltorena St. in S.B.
Adlaide Hewitt was born Jan. 13, 1861 in Walton, Ontario, Canada. Adlaide married 2nd
Alexander Sansome. Have land records for Alexander for the year 1884 in Santa Barbara.
Alexander died in 1928.
Adailde Hewitt Roberts Sansome died 1939 in Santa Barbara.
Moses Roberts and Adlaide had the following children:
1) Jack Roberts b. Aug. 27, 1884 d. Oct. 4, 1967 in santa Maria, Ca.
2) Robert Roberts b. sept. 4, 1877 in Reno, Nev. d. March 23, 19621 in Santa Barbara.
3) William H. Roberts
4) Eva Roberts
5) Sara Roberts
6) Nora Roberts.
The family is listed in the Santa Barbara Directory for the year 1896 and 1896. Moses and Adlaide both died in Santa Barbara.
