Creation of San Mateo Co.

San Mateo Co. was created in 1856. From statehood in 1850 until 1856, the area was part of San Francisco County.
The town of South San Francisco is located in San Mateo Co. -it was incorporated in 1908 - perhaps this is the birth location in 1899?
