Carol....I might have some information on the Clevenger family if you are looking for the family that was in Arroyo Grande in late 1800's early 1900's. Names that I have are Thomas and Stephen Clevenger (probably brothers), and children Arch, George, Henry, Nellie, May, and Porter. I don't have vital record dates - what I have is newspaper articles. My great grandmother Laura Parsons lived in Arroyo Grande from 1883 to 1904. She kept a book where she pasted every newspaper article that had any mention of the Parsons family or close friends from 1898 to 1904 - many of which include the Clevenger names above as their children were same ages as the Parsons children. I also have a book "According to Madge - Early Times in South San Luis Obispo County and the Arroyo Grande Valley" that includes her recollections of the Clevenger family and other tidbits.

If any of the above Clevenger names are those you are looking for and you are interested in this information, please send me an email.
