Fleming and Hairston Amyx

I am trying to locate info on brothers' Fleming and Hairston Amyx. Fleming was state assemblyman for Tuolumne Co 1855-56 and 1861-62. he lived in Big Oak Flat Ca. He died in Stockton Nov 4 1861. I can't find an obit only a reference to a memorial at the Corinthian Bldg. Seems since he was in politics that there would be an obit somewhere.
Hairston was a lawyer in Stockton. I have found references to him in the History of Stockton. I think he lived in America St (?). Hairston married Flemings' widow Amelia in 1862 and they had one daughter Amelia. he died in 1893 in Stockton. Once again I can find no obit. I have checked cemtery records and cannot find a burial location for either brother. Nor the widow Amelia.
Flemings' son Andrew is listed in the 1890 voter register as a scout and guide in French Camp but also as blind in both eyes. ( go figure). Any help would be welcome.
