Hi Ravae,

If you go to San Joaquin Genealogical Society website at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~sjgs/ there is a book they sell titled: Gold Rush Days Volume IV . In it, it will give the newspaper date of the marriage of your people Elijah W. Grover and Elizabeth Duffy by your Rev. Joseph A. Gallagher. Then you go to the front of the book and figure out which newspaper.

Maybe in the marriage newspaper article, it might give the parents name.

It's a gamble...but at least a pretty good one.
