I was at the library today doing another lookup and did this one for you as well. I did not have time to check on the progress of the murder or if it was solved. I found this story very interesting so when I go back to the library later this week, i will investigate for you. In the meantime - here is the obit.

IN THE STOCKTON RECORD

MORRIS - In Stockton, September 28, 1930, Roy Lincoln Morris, beloved husband of Pearl Morris; loving father of of Claudia and Challis Morris all of Stockton; brother of Mrs. Norma Hammond of Long Beach, Mrs. Nettie Waterman of Spokane, Wash.. Mrs. Goldie Graffmiller of Buck Eye, Wash., Samuel, Lewis. Harold, Mintaria and Scott Morris all of Spokane, Wash.

Friends may call at the chapel of DeYoung and Conklin, American and Fremont Streets. Notice of funeral later.

Well I checked for the next 2 days afterward and there wasn't another notice.

Sheri
