William Henry Lyons

I was hoping a member of William H Lyons family would
respond, just to enlighten me on some inforation.
William H. was my Great Great Great Uncle, and his parents were William Lyons and Jane Lee Lyons.
William had many sisiters and brothers
My question is, William Henry, Jerome, and my Great great Grandfather John G. Lyons left home at a very young age.
The elder family is found in Washington Co.,Pa.census,
but these men do not show up on those census as young boys.
Our family manuscript states these boys left home at a very early age 13,14, 16. to pursue jobs.(where to and who did they live with)
Was their father born in Va., or Pa.?
Their parents were married in Jefferwson Co.Ohio, not in the Shenandoah valley,(I have their mg. license)
Answers would be wonderful.
I want nothing from the family. we are comfortable, thank you.
I did hear from Jerome"s GG Granddaughter.
My DAR app. needs a few more answers.
My mother was a Lyons
Thank you so much.
Carol
