Brenda: If you want us to help you, please send more information. First place, even if someone is cremated there has to be a death certificate issued to the state of California if she died there. Especially if she died in a hospital they are responsible for the death certificate being issued. Are you sure of her date and place of death. California does not show her death being reported with the information that you posted...name, date and so forth. There is a Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County but according to the internet it is in La Mesa. But this has nothing to do with the death being reported to the state of California. If you could give us her Social Security number that would help a lot. Was her date and place of death given you by someone else or is this something you know personally?
