City Directories LaMesa 1940's?
Posted by: Helen Date: January 26, 2002 at 11:13:59

Is anyone aware of locations for city directories for La Mesa area in the 40's and 50's and 60's??

I am trying to locate an address for a Robert Paul Fowler, who lived with wife (unknown name) son Freddy and daughter Pauline in La Mesa (per a letter written by his mother in 1943)

I did find a death listing on-line for 1969 that is probably this gentleman, but SD library couldn't find any obit. I am at a brick wall in trying to locate any other info or possible living "cousins"...

Any suggestions, ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks
