Yes, thank you! Betty was my mother. She passed away in an accident in 1991. It is her father, "Lawrence Blankenship" aka George or Jack Renfro I am hoping to find out about. Unfortunately, very few people are left alive in mom's family, and they either no nothing or aren't willing to talk about it. I know he and my grandmother were seperated about 1940, although I have yet to get my hands on those official records. Supposibly he went to jail for having two two many wives! Haven't located offical records of that yet, either. Mom went to her grave not even knowing that much. Hope to clear some things up, and get a medical background for my own family history.
