Kurt George Bullinger
Posted by: Gary Bullinger (ID *****4589) Date: May 25, 2013 at 14:26:52
  of 1586

I am researching Kurt George Bullinger, b: 27 June 1915 (in Chicago?), d: 15 (22) Sept 1965. He is buried at the Military cemetery "Ft Rosecrans Nation Cemetery" in San Diego, CA Sec A-B, site 398. Kurt was a M Sgt in the Medical & Engineering Corp specifically the 1356th Engineering group in Belgium during WWII and up until 1949. It appears he reenlisted after WWII, and became an Army reserve Commander, hence the "ARCOM" on his stone. (see find a grave). I have contact the San Diego Library for an obituary, but his name is not listed. While in Belgium during WWII, Kurt befriended a lady who gave birth to his daughter Adolfie "Fien" Mahieu (current name) upon Kurt's return to the States after the war. Fien is attempting to find any half-siblings, obituary, or any additional information on the Kurt Bullinger family. Any additional information will be most welcome. Thanks!
