Hi Virginia,
You can request a copy of both of their obituaries from San Diego County Library, sdcl.org.
"hover" over Community Services and Libraries will appear
Click on Libraries
Click on AskALibrarian which is on the right-hand side of the screen.
Fill in the information. There is no fee.

Hopefully the obit will say where she is buried. If not, contact the funeral home mentioned in the obit.

I found a Barbara Jean Payne b. 21 June 1937 in Alameda Co.
Mother's Maiden Name=Springeton.
Source=California Birth Index 1905-95.

Is she your Barbara?

I also see your note that you're looking for Virginia's siblings. Where was Virginia born?
