Thank you for your help. I did run across that information from the CHUM radio station after you had mentioned Wm worked there. I am not sure when he left Canada. After speaking with my mom this afternoon, she told me that Wm left my Gma around Thanksgiving 1953 (before she was born). Apparently my Gma's father "ran him out of town".

Here family tree is based on her mother's side of things (Ponchetti). As for where she was born, I'm thinking (based on another of her photos) that she was born in Anchorage.

I guess it's possible for there to be 2 Wm's but on the profile page for Rita, she has photos of "Grandpa Hopkins", and also lists her father as "William Henry Hopkins Noble". I know it sounds confusing, so you probably understand my frustration.

Thank you for the information on the stakes. I will try and check that out. I have tried contacting Rita through her profile, but she hasn't logged on in over 6 months, so I'm hoping she will soon.
