Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I think this is my great-grandfather, who went by the name Russell Shears (formerly Rice). He was adopted by the Shears family, never used the name Leon that I've heard, and most of the other specifics are the same (sister, vaudeville, parents' deaths, etc.)

He was married twice, I believe as Russell Shears. If you want to know more, maybe you could contact me off the forum?
